My wife and I came here on a “J” date (Jerk Joint counts double!). I was as totally won over by the service and attention from the cook/owner who was determined to make our first time here memorable. So welcoming and engaging, what fun! Good music too. The atmosphere was totally the couple running it and fun music. On his recommendation we tried collard greens. I heard of them but never felt like trying it, and it was SO good. Collard greens? Really?! Wow, that was the best surprise of the night. We got a sample of cabbage which reminded me of having it at home growing up! Yum! The jerk chicken and rum pork were good, as was mac and cheese, rice, beans, and fries. We topped it off with coconut cake. Did I already say yum? Yum-yum! My kids were very surprised how much food we came home with. Wow!

Stopped in from out of town with my husband to try something new, and this place had good reviews. We asked a few questions about the menu. When the gentleman working heard we've never been, he brought us a free sample of 4 different meats. Unbelievably delicious food, great service. Because of the gesture, I was able to order confidently. Still hard to choose because everything was SO good, but went with the Curry Chicken bowl. The rice and cabbage was also so so good.

The food was amazing! Everything was flavorful. The owner was incredibly kind and even gave us a complimentary slice of coconut cake to try, which was absolutely delicious. The atmosphere was welcoming. Overall, it was a great experience highly recommend!

Absolutely righteous food here! It's like nothing you'll find elsewhere in Appleton. The jerk chicken has a great, smokey flavour and their collard greens are some of the best I've ever had--not everyone gets those right. Personally, I thought the sweet ting chicken stole the show with just the right amounts of smokey, tangy, and sweet notes. The owner is really friendly, as well, and I loved the music they were playing in there. Highly recommended!

I ordered the small jerk chicken bowl. It was super tender and saucy jerk chicken on top of cabbage and beans&rice. The flavor was bold and amazing!! The staff was really nice and helped me decide what to order.

Don't know what took me so long to check this place out. I walked in not knowing what to expect and asked what the server recommended, he said "you can't miss.". So I ordered the 3 meats 3 sides, and got an extra side of 6 bone in wings. When I tell you everything was perfect, it was off the chain. Ribs, fall of the bone, juicy and seasoned to perfection. Wings, same, curry chicken, awesome, cooked perfectly. Can't recommend enough. I would leave a picture but didn't think to take one before I devoured this. 10/10 would recommend

I had been waiting a long time to go to the Jerk Joint, and my only regret is not going sooner! This local eatery will quickly become your favorite spot, too, once you experience the amazing options. The "Doobies" are massive jerk chicken and cabbage eggrolls that are perfect for dipping in the homemade jerk sauce; I played it safe with the mild, but I'll be adventurous and get the hot next time! The Mac and Cheese burger was a unique blend of creamy and saucy, cheesy with a kick! The fries are seasoned thoroughly and stand out above other restaurant's sides. The Rum Cake perfectly capped the evening with something sweet and fluffy. The staff is the friendliest in the Valley, and the Reggae music kept the mood mellow and inviting. Thank you, Jerk Joint!

This place was amazing! We got the jerk ribs and spicy curry chicken. While cooking our food the owner brought us out some wings to try on the house! The sauces were sweet, smokey, with just the right kick. Our entrees were absolutely incredible! Finished off with the coconut cake which was so delicious! We will definitely be back whenever in town.
